Dead man discovered in water at The Rye in High Wycombe

A man was discovered dead in water at The Rye last week has been named by coroners.

The body of 35-year-old Daniel Prince was uncovered from The Dyke in the High Wycombe park on Tuesday, April 25 after a concerned member of the public raised the alarm at around 7.12 am.

Bucks Fire and Rescue provided assistance to South Central Ambulance and Thames Valley Police and recovered the body from the water.

An inquest into the death of Mr Prince, who is from Broad Street in Chesham, was opened the 2rd of May.

Police did not treat the death as suspicious and the next of kin have been informed.
