Fire victims of high-rise Grenfell, who lost their homes and were forced to relegated in hotels, are still demanded to pay for apartments in a burnt house. So, one of the residents checked his bank account and was surprised to find that they continue to withhold payments for the burnt housing. This fact caused a lot of indignation of residents, as well as of community workers who help people to solve the difficulties associated with moving to temporary housing and paying a reimbursable allowance.
"Not only does the situation with resettlement and payment of allowance to people has not improved over the past two weeks, but they even are deducted rent for technically absent housing," - said Yvette Williams from «Justice for Grenfell» movement. According to her, it was the public, who helped the fire victims left without food, clothes and a roof over their heads, but not the officials of the local council.
