Slow sailing on the river or lake on a small boat designed for two passengers — it is very cute and romantic. But a Dutch designer (Frank de Bruijn) came up with idea how to turn these trips into even more romantic, and also beneficial to health. The idea is "splicing" the boat and jacuzzi bath and calling the resulting hybrid HotTug.
In London, HotTug will be launched by Tommo Stuart Thomson from London and Jack Clegg. Funds for this idea were collected with the help of a crowdfunding resource. Fundraising ends on July 11 this year. Now, Londoners will be able to sail in boat-jacuzzi along the London canal in swimsuits. A 90-minute sail along the canal will begin at Old Street. An ordinary trip for seven people will cost 199 pounds. The VIP option, which includes an ice bucket for drinks, captain's hats for everyone, as well as towels and bathrobes, will cost 260 pounds sterling.
In a boat, you can safely sail in any pond, even in the sea. A special design ensures its unsinkability. HotTug is very small, but capacious vessel: it accommodates from six to eight people. In the front of the boat there is an underwater wood-burning stove - it heats the water in the boat to + 38 ° C for several hours. You can immediately fill the boat with hot water, in which case the oven will be needed only to maintain the water temperature during the sailing.
