A 53-year-old man bought a ready-to-eat salad in one of London's Tesco chain stores, inside of which a dead rat happened to be. The hungry Londoner noticed a foreign object in the salad not immediately. He started to consume the dish with appetite, when suddenly it seemed to him that the salad was cut in too large pieces. The man pulled a big piece out of his mouth and, to his horror, found that he was trying to chew a dead rodent. The indignation of the buyer had no limits.
He said that, of course, there can be mistakes in any work, but such things are unacceptable. The victim is preparing to receive appropriate explanations from Tesco. He stressed that he was forced to drink half a bottle of whiskey to at least somehow calm his nerves.
The press center of the company Tesco said that the investigation in connection with the incident had already begun, and added that the company pays a overarching attention to quality control of the products sold. So the news of the discovery of a dead rat in salad was a complete surprise for the store employees. In connection with this fact, an appropriate request will be sent to the suppliers of the products, so that they prepare it more carefully before being sent to stores.
