Five of the most beautiful gardens in the UK

Kew Garden.

This garden is without exaggeration the most beautiful park in London. The Royal Botanic Garden has a two-hundred-year history, and for centuries the landscape of the park has been carefully planned. The park can rightly be proud of its collection of living plants, which is one of the three largest world collections. The Kew Garden is located on the south bank of the Thames, its area is over 120 hectares. Here you can spend a wonderful and informative day with the whole family, especially a visit of the park will cheer children. A day spent among such beauty passes in a blink of an eye.

Exbury Gardens.

One of the most beautiful gardens in Britain - the Exbury Gardens is just 10-minute drive from the Beaulieu village, in the heart of which you can admire the majestic neo-palladian mansion of the English branch of the Rothschild family. In the typically British "shiny isolation", an amazing garden shows itself to the eyes of visitors, far from the capital`s hustle. Both the soil and the climate of these places are ideal for rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias. The rainy winters of South England, without strong frosts, and the relatively high humidity due to the proximity of the sea, make it possible for the rapid growth of this man-made paradise. In 2011, the Exbury gardens received the prestigious award of Hudson's Heritage UK in the category "Best Gardens of Britain".

Hever Castle Garden.

Hever Castle in Kent is a place that will allow you to plunge into the mysterious past as fans of history, and fans of everything beautiful. In the beginning of the XV century the castle was bought by the Boleyn family. Gardens, located next to the castle, are incomparable. The favorite ornament of the local gardens is the topiary forms, which were highly valued back in the times of Henry. The gardens are decorated in Italian style. Many aquatic plants and structures can be found in the castle gardens: cool and shady grottoes, Half Moon Pond, a classic fountain on the loggia - all this will leave unforgettable impressions.

Alnwick Garden.

The Alnwick castle in Northumberland is surrounded by many beautiful gardens, such as the Serpent and Cherry Orchard. But also there is one of the most unique gardens in the whole country - the Poisonous Garden. The most important difference from other gardens is that there poisonous plants from around the world are collected, and touching some of them can be fatal to humans. The castle itself is the second largest in the UK.

Trentham Gardens.

In Trentham gardens in Stoke-on-Trent, peace and wild fun combined. Visitors can both enjoy calm walks and picnics, and take part in many entertainments in the garden.
