A 28-year-old man from east London has been charged with encouraging terrorism.
Shafi Mohammed Saleem, from Forest Gate in Newham, was arrested on April 19 by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
He was charged with encouraging terrorism on July 12. It follows a police investigation into extremist material online.
Mr Saleem will appear on bail at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 26.
