Five attacks on passers-by with using acid were committed by two unknown persons on a moped in London. That series of attacks was committed in a fairly short time - within an hour and a half. And the worst thing is that one of the victims of the attack will have scars from acid on the face for the rest of the life.
According to the police, it all has begun with the fact that the 32-year-old moped driver stopped at the crossroads of Huckney Road and Queensbridge Road, and at that moment two unknown persons approached him and splashed acid on his face. While he was trying to get over it, the two sat down on his moped and left. Informing the police about the crime, the victim went to the hospital.
Literally 20 minutes later, a message was received from one more victim, who was attacked by two unknowns on the moped at the intersection of Upper Street and Highbury Conner (Islington). This victim of acid attack was also taken to the hospital. In another 15 minutes, a couple on the moped poured acid on the face of a passerby near High Street. As it was reported in the police, those injuries did not pose a danger to life.
And 14 minutes later, another person was injured on the Kazenove road and in this case the injuries were very serious. The last attack happened almost at midnight. The police already detained one teenager on suspicion of committing a series of crimes, but asks all those who have some information to report to the London police hotline.
