Police investigating a noxious substance attack on a man and a woman in Burdett Road, E3 on Tuesday, 4 July have charged a man.

Mustafa Ahmed [B], 19 (23.07.97) of Musberry Street, E1 was charged on Monday, 17 July with one count of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) and one count of attempted wounding with intent to do GBH (both contrary to Section 18 - Offences Against The Person Act).
He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 18 July.
Ahmed was arrested on Sunday, 16 July.
A 19-year-old man [A] arrested on 13 July on suspicion of GBH has been released under investigation.
An 18-year-old man [C] and a 19-year-old man [D] arrested on Sunday, 16 July on suspicion of GBH have also been released under investigation.
Both victims, a man aged in his 20s and a woman aged in her 40s, were discharged from hospital following treatment.
