To drink a glass of pink wine or sparkling wine, to breathe in the scent of blossoming roses - is not this the joy everyone can allow himself, if he loves summer and life? In July, the capital will host a three-day festival of rose wine, the Rose Festival, at the Geffry Museum. The festival will be held in a pleasant surroundings of the beautiful gardens of the museum and this will allow you to enjoy even more refined drinks.
Rose wine is made from black grapes, which are pressed during production, so that the juice quickly obtains color, and then squeezed, the further process is no different from the production of ordinary white wine. This wine is not intended for long storage. It should be drunk young until it has fresh fruit flavor, preferably within one to two years from the date of harvest.
The festival will present wine from manufacturers such as Laurent Perrier, Domaine Ott, Whispering Angel, Martini, Sassy and Belaire and others. In total, 30 kinds of rose wine will be available at the event. The organizers also talked about a varied entertainment program for the guests. In addition to the performances of DJs and opera singers, you will also see performances of jazz bands and several performances of Shakespeare's plays.
The event will be held from 21th to 23th July. The ticket price is £15.
