Four British airports were in the world's 20 worst air terminals. A study conducted recently showed that four British airports are at the very bottom of the list for such indicators as punctuality and quality of service. The last place in the list was taken by Kuwait airport. This statistic was the result of a series of incidents that repeatedly threw air traffic inside and outside the country into chaos. The last of them was the fall of the British Airways computer system, because of which many passengers were forced to spend the night in terminals.
At the same time, another British airport - Heathrow, ranked 20th in this list, which is a pretty good result. The leadership of Gatwick, that turned out to be one of the outsiders, did not attach importance to the results of the study, saying that most of the delays and cancellations were due to factors beyond their control, for example, such as crews` strikes of the British Airways. In April of this year, Gatwick headed another shameful list. The survey of Which Company showed that the waiting room at this airport is the worst in the country. "The terminal floor is dirty, shops and restaurants on the terminal territory offer a limited range of services," - the study says.
