Streak for Tigers: Zookeepers at London Zoo show off their wild side ahead of annual naked run through the zoo

The Zoological Society of London is holding a "cheeky" late night at London Zooin order to raise money for its tiger conservation work.

Streak for Tigers on Thursday August 10 will see 300 fundraising nature enthusiasts run through the zoo in the buff - writes getwestlondon.

Prowling the zoo "as nature intended" will cost you a £20 registration fee but you must pledge to raise at least £150 pounds each, with the zoo targeting a £40,000 total this year.

A play on the collective noun for a group of tigers, Streak for Tigers takes on a new route this year and friends and family are invited to spectate, provided they are over 18, of course.

If you are feeling a little shy, ZSL are providing runners with complimentary animal masks and ears as well as a commemorative certificate for the participants and a special prize for the top fundraiser.

Spectators and runners will also be invited to a special tiger talk at the zoo that evening.

Previous Streak for Tigers events have helped ZSL buy equipment to monitor tiger populations and breeding.

The event takes place after the museum closes, with the run itself beginning at 8pm for around ten minutes.

To take part you need to pay the £20 registration fee and a pledge to raise £150.
