Pubs and bars will no longer charge visitors' phones

If during the evening with your friends your phone starts to discharge, then the workers of bars and pubs will no longer help you to solve this problem. As it turned out, this service for the guests is expensive. Moreover, owners very often receive claims from customers, because the phone allegedly stopped working after charging in the institution. JD Wetherspoon pubs, which number about a thousand throughout the UK, began to prohibit the charging of guests` phones at the bar.

Spokesman JD Wetherspoon said: "Recharging guests` phones usually brings a lot of inconvenience to employees." If people want to charge a phone at the bar, then this decision will be made only by the manager. " Businessman John Singh from North London has already stumbled on establishments with new rules: "Last month I found out that most pubs suddenly refused to charge the phones, nowadays the phone is a mini-computer and of course it discharges quickly. For me, it is important that my phone is always charged, because I have not to miss an important call or message. I was refused charging in several institutions in a row." Another pub owner, who did not want to reveal his name, said: "People often ask to charge their gadgets and phones, if an employee accidentally drops something from this, then we most likely will get a lawsuit. Visitors need to take chargers with themselves. They go crazy when their phone dies."
