London police say two people were hurt when a pickup and dump truck collided Tuesday

Two people were hurt, one of them seriously, when a pickup truck collided with a dump truck on Clarke Road Tuesday morning.

A Ford F150 heading south on Clarke Road lost control on an S-bend south of Medway Road, spun into the grass and then re-entered the roadway backwards before colliding with a northbound gravel truck shortly before 8 a.m.

The pickup driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the dump truck had minor injuries, police said, adding the crash remains under investigation.
