Have your say on the future of our key services

We are once more calling on local people to share their views on our services and help shape the future of their borough.
We have launched four consultations following the ‘Your Borough, Your Future’ survey which ran last Autumn.
After getting initial feedback from residents, we have agreed a three year budget in February, which set out how it planned to make £58m of savings.
And now it is seeking local people’s views on more detailed proposals.
Mayor John Biggs said: “Government cuts and pressures on services mean we have had to save £58m, from our budget by 2020 – the equivalent of £1 in every £6 we spend.
“We are making significant internal changes to how the council works to achieve these savings and listened to people’s views about the services they most use and value.
“We think we can change some of our services to make them more efficient but we want to test this with the people who use them before we make our final decision. I urge residents to share their views.”
