Man charged with assaulting two police officers at Green Park station

A male and female officer were assaulted at a Jubilee Line station.

A man has been charged with assaulting two police officers at a busy London tube station, according to the British Transport Police - writes getwestlondon.

The 38-year-old man was arrested on Monday (September 4) after a male and female officer were assaulted at Green Park London Underground station.

Hector Martinez Nieto of Dorset Road, London, was subsequently charged with assaulting two police officers on Tuesday (September 5).

He appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court to face the charges, on the same day.

British Transport Police confirmed that the charges relate to an incident in which both a male and female officer were assaulted at the Jubilee Line station.
