Mini-apartments will be built in the center of London

Developers have found a solution that will help solve the problem with the lack of housing in London - to build compact mini-apartments in the center of the capital. Of course, not everyone agrees to sleep in a corner and touch the walls of the bathroom with a toilet while sleeping. But rent payment in size between 700 and 1200 pounds sterling (which is very affordable for London) can make such housing very attractive.

It is supposed that the area of mini-apartments will be from 19 to 24 square meters, and they will be leased to people whose income is up to 30 thousand pounds per year. Mini-apartments can not be sold or sub-leased. - Compact life is a proven solution in such crowded cities as Tokyo, New York and Hong Kong. And the appearance of such apartments in London will help to solve the problem of housing shortage, - said one of the developers in a statement.

The search for housing in central London is not easy. Because of the high investment attractiveness of the UK capital, many foreign magnates buy real estate in prestigious areas, but do not live there themselves. Therefore, many apartments are empty, while many office workers are forced to look for housing far away from the place of work.
