Winter is already approaching and soon all Londoners will start preparing for the forthcoming frosts. In light of this, the residents of the capital will have a unique way to warm up - to have a sauna on the roof! To celebrate New Year holidays, The Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens will be re-planned and decorated. Here you will find cozy Finnish saunas. They were developed by graduates of the Aalto University in Helsinki and sculptor from Finland, Jaakko Pernu.
Rooftop sauna in winter
The sauna will be translucent, so you can admire the city and keep warm at the same time. The session is designed for 16 people and will last 70 minutes. You will also appreciate the presence of a bar, where specially trained staff will serve warming drinks. In addition, the sauna will host several performances and various events. The Finnish sauna will be opened at Queen Elizabeth Hall from 10th of November to 30th of December. The cost of the ticket is £ 15 and you can buy them from September 27th here.
