Cyclist crashes into group on pavement and attacks them

A cyclist who was thrown to the ground after crashing into three people on a pavement got up and knocked out one of the victims.

The cyclist floored the man with a single blow, before turning to a woman and breaking her nose with a second flurry of punches.

CCTV footage showed the attacker, a man in his 20s, thrown to the ground as he careered into the victims as they walked along a pavement.

He then stood up and tossed the bike aside before marching towards the group, two men and a woman, and launching the violent attack.

They argued briefly before the 24-year-old man was knocked unconscious with a single punch.

As the woman tried to intervene she was hit with more blows, breaking her nose, before the attacker ran back to his bike and fled the scene.

The attack happened in Hackney, north east London, at about 3am on Sunday, August 13.
