David Blaine accused of raping British model Natasha Prince in London

David Blaine has been accused of raping a British former model at a private home in London.

Natasha Prince claimed the magician attacked her just months after her 21st birthday at a house in Chelsea in the summer of 2004 - writes telegraph.co.uk.

Prince began modelling at the age of 15 and appeared on around 25 magazine covers, including Vogue, Elle and Glamour before abruptly quitting the industry at the age of 24.

Prince, who is originally from England and now works as an art dealer in New York, said Blaine had invited her over to a friend's house where the attack took place.

“The next thing I remember, I was sitting in the makeup chair getting my makeup done, and thinking, ‘What did I do last night? Did I have sex with David Blaine?' But I didn’t want to…” I felt hazy, completely out of it," she told the Daily Beast .

L ast night Scotland Yard confirmed it was investigating an allegation of rape at an address in Chelsea in 2004 but said no arrests had been made at this stage.

Officers have asked Blaine come to Britain to be interviewed under caution, according to emails seen by The Daily Beast.

B laine’s attorney, Marty Singer, denied all allegations to The Daily Beast in a statement.

“My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004,” the statement said. “If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide.”

P rince's disclosure of the allegationcomesamid an outpouring of accounts from women in the public eye following the allegations of sexual assault against film producer Harvey Weinstein.

The former model said she first met Blaine, known for stunts such as living in a suspended glass box, at a nightclub in Knightsbridge. She said he was very attentive towards her and he invited her to a friend's house the following night.

She claimed she remembers very little of the night and "feeling stoned" after drinking a vodka and soda which Blaine gave her.

Since the alleged incident Prince said she has suffered flashbacks.

“I remember being flipped around, and it all seemed like slow motion,” she said. “I was wracking my brains and retracing all my steps trying to figure out what happened, which is why I remember so many details. I don’t remember any other day of that year.”

Prince said she reported the incident to the Metropolitan Police in November last year after years of "[blaming] myself" and feeling "ashamed".
