Driver dead after freight train hits truck in Oxford County

A pickup driver is dead after being hit by a Canadian Pacific freight train on the 13th Line, north of Road 68 in Oxford County.

The man driving, who was alone in the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash, which took place at about 9:36 a.m. Thursday.

The train was left blocking 13th Line and 15th Line, but has since been moved. OPP continue to probe the crash.
