On the Christmas Eve, Londoners will have to use buses instead of trains. According to Transport for London Rail (TfL Rail), repair of stations and rails is planned for this period until the New Year. Howard Smith, Operations Director of TfL Rail, said that he would like to apologize to passengers for temporary inconveniences. After the repair, the stations will increase the capacity, and some of them will be equipped with new elevators that will deliver the passenger from the street directly to the platform. However, Tfl announced that on Christmas Eve there will be no shift of buses from 11 pm and all day on Christmas Day.
