The first vegan institution Pie & Mash in London

Have you ever thought that vegetarianism is not a bad idea? But then, how to be with the many delicacies to which we are used to? It seems, the owners of Young Vegans, have an answer to this question. Over the past few years, Carla and Marco Casadei have made a good image of themselves, taking part in festivals of street food throughout the UK. Now they have raised their business to a new level and opened a real, from cement and bricks, an institution on the Camden Market.

In Young Vegans, a couple cooks and sells their favorite pies with seitan, curry, sweet potato and many others. All pies are served with mashed potatoes and hot sauce. Another point of Young Vegans is located on the Hackney Downs Vegan Market. A few weeks ago, a real queue formed at the doors of young vegans: people couldn`t live without their cheeseburger pies.

It seems that this weekend the story will be the same. Young Vegans will launch Dia del Fat Gay Vegan Pie for the first time - fried seitan with red pepper, fried black beans, scramble-tofu and cheese. All this will be served with potato pancakes and vegan sour cream. And on the International Vegan Day (November 1st) a limited number of pies with pasta and cheese will appear in the assortment.

If the dishes still don`t seem vegetarian enough to you, the owners of the store can offer a pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Carla and Marco are convinced that food of vegetable origin should not only be tasty, but also appetizing to look, so that no gourmet can resist it.
