How to pay the fare. You will not pay for cash. The trip costs £1.50. This amount can be paid using Visitor Oyster card, Oyster card, Travelcard or contactless card. If you paid via Oyster card or contactless card, then within an hour after the first trip you can make the second one by bus or tram for free. To realize this right, you need to use the same card. If you travel around the city only by buses and trams, you will spend a maximum of £4.50 per day, provided that you use one card. To pay the fare, go to the the bus cabin, touch the yellow reader card or show the driver a Travelcard ticket.
Discounts for travel. Children under 11 years of age use buses and trams for free. Free travel is also provided for the disabled and the elderly people.
