Moment masked thug storms London bar and tries to steal laptop – but is fought off by customers wielding BAR STOOLS

A HERO manager was filmed fighting off a hammer-wielding moped thief in a busy London tapas restaurant.

CCTV recorded the entire bust-up, including the moment customers joined Gessica Lastrucci in confronting the robber with bar stools at Crouch End's Bar Esteban on Tuesday night.

The rider bursts into the bar, and immediately snatches Gessica's laptop as she is typing on it at the bar - writes thesun.co.uk.

She tugs on the charger, which is still plugged into the laptop, in a bid to pull her device out of his hands.

The villain accidentally drops his hammer as he clings on to the laptop which is now heading back to Gessica's hands, and quickly leaves the bar.

At this point, she retrieves her laptop, and is comforted by horrified customers, but to their surprise, he make a dramatic re-entrance.

The thug tried to rob Bar Esteban after attempting to smash into a nearby estate agent

"When the robber came back in I thought he was going to hurt me."

The crook struck just minutes after trying to smash his way into David Astburys estate agents, just down the road from Bar Esteban.

Aaron Cox, from the estate agents said: "They managed to smash their way into our place at around 1.30am and stole computers. We've only been here two weeks.

Police are hunting the two moped toerags who struck Bar Esteban.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Two suspects entered the premises in Park Road and grabbed a laptop from a table. The laptop was dropped at the scene and the suspects made off on mopeds.

"A hammer was recovered at the location. No arrests have been made."
