Participants of the campaign against reforms in British health care, including Stephen Hawking, were allowed to address the High Court. All of them will testify against the plans of the Minister of Health Jeremy Hunt and the organization NHS England to create a network of accountable organizations for care of patients (Accountable care organizations, ACOs).
It should be noted that according to the plan of the minister, these organizations should act in partnership with hospitals, social services and local councils. Working in close contact, such organizations can take care of more patients not only in medical institutions, but also at home. Assistance to these organizations will be provided after the conclusion of the relevant contract.
