A house narrower than a Tube carriage has become the thinnest home outside Zone One to come on the London market with a £1 million price tag.
The “Slim House” inBatterseais 7ft 7in wide at the front and is one of only a handful of its size in the capital.
The three-storey home — originally an access route to stables before being built over — has featured regularly in TV property shows, including architect George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
It was extended in 2013 by London architect Alma-nac to add an extra room on each level at a cost of £90,000. It now has two reception rooms on the ground floor with a kitchen breakfast room leading to a 48ft garden.
