Two men wanted over burglary at a house in north London

Police are hunting two men who are wanted over a burglary at a house in north London.

The property on South Close in Barnet was broken into on Easter Sunday with a large number of items from the living room and bedrooms taken.

The homeowners were away on holiday at the time and police were only notified when their pet-sitter entered the house.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

"Two men forced entry to the side gate of the address on the same day between 10:00 and 17:00hrs, walking to the rear of the property and forcing entry to a window.

"Anyone who recognises the men in the footage or has information on their whereabouts should contact Barnet CID on 020 8733 4125 or via 101, or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 5190/01 April."
