A neighbour called 911 after noticing smoke coming out of a home at 130 Ashley Cres. last Sunday shortly before 5 p.m., firefighters said.
Firefighters, who arrived to heavy black smoke billowing from the home, searched the home but didn’t find anybody inside.
Firefighters doused the blaze that appears to have started in the living room.
The main floor had significant fire and smoke damage, causing an estimated damage at $120,000, firefighters said. The cause remains under investigation.
